This kit has been developed especially for mountain hikers and mountaineers. Due to the nature of these activities reaching medical professionals in an emergency may be difficult and often time consuming. This is clearly reflected in the contents of the Mountaineer.
The extensive collection of bandages has been supplemented by such items as a splint, camphor spray, foot powder, an emergency whistle and emergency signal instructions. The large array of bandages include finger and knuckle plasters, blister dressings and sports tape. Obviously, this first aid kit also includes an emergency blanket to protect against heat or cold.
