Impregnation - The contact insecticide used on the Care Plus® Mosquito Nets is deadly for mosquitoes and other vermin, but harmless to people. Impregnation provides extra protection as mosquitoes do not even get the chance to land on and bite through the net.
The WHO recommends Long Lasting impregnated mosquito nets for high-risk malaria areas (tropical Africa, Amazon region, parts of South East Asia). Tropicare® was the first to introduce Long lasting Impregnated (LLI) nets in 2003. By using this new technology the impregnation remains effective 5 times longer than standard impregnated mosquito nets. Furthermore, the nets can be washed without losing their effectiveness.
All LLI mosquito nets manufactured by Tropicare meet the requirements of the WHO (World Health Organization). The impregnation is effective up to 2.5 years when used daily and the nets can be washed up to 20 times! 
This durallin impregnated mosquito net has the shape of a dome tent, meaning that it can be set up without points of suspension and the watertight polyester base provides ample protection for the bottom of the net.
The Dome shield is suitable for use either on a bed or on the floor, the included tent pegs can be used to set up and anchor the net on bare ground. The dome shield offers a large and comfortable sleeping environment with an inside height of 1.25 metres at the top of the dome. The dome is held in place with 2 glass fibre poles.
Tropicare had this product specially designed for the Ministry of Defence, meaning that it meets very strict qualitative requirements and is ideal for lengthy or strenuous expeditions.
