The Care Plus : Mosquito Net - Wedge is a lightweight and compact net build for 1 person and ideal for the traveller, backpacker or camper. The Wedge net comes with its own stuff sack that helps to maintain the impregnation and allows easy packing and transport - the net weighs only 250 grams, and by using the sack packs down to a size of 20 x 10 x 10 cm. The wedge is a suspended net that needs to be hung from two suspension points, however the wedge net comes fully equipped with a suspension kit including hooks, line, and safety pins that with a little creativity will allow the net to be hung in a multitude of locations, but is particularly suited to use with a single bed, camp-bed or sleeping bag. This wedge is an Long-Lasting Impregnated (LLI) net, meaning that it is coated with an contact insecticide that kills mosquitoes and other insects, thus helping to protect the user. The World Health Organisation recommends the use of LLI nets that remain effective with up to 3 year’s use and up to 20 washes - the Care Plus Wedge (LLI) net complies with these conditions. The World Health Organisation also recommends nets with a mesh rating (holes per square inch) of at least 156, the Care Plus Wedge LLI net has a mesh rating of 365 and thus far surpasses the recommended fineness of net, again helping to protect the user.

Why a Mosquito Net? Durallin Impregnation Care Plus mosquito nets are impregnated with long-lasting DURALLIN technology that applies the insecticide to the material of the nets. DURALLIN can be used without risk for humans, but it is deadly for insects and other arthropods. The technology makes use of a minimum impregnation dose and therefore mosquito nets impregnated with DURALLIN contain minimum quantities of solvents - in this respect DURALLIN combines effectiveness durability and safety.
